Stop & Shop Removes Oxycontin Because of Robberies
QUINCY, Mass. - Stop & Shop said on Thursday it will no longer stock the product Oxycontin because of the number of robberies in drug stores throughout the region where it operates.
The company said certain prescription orders may be obtained on behalf of customers through the wholesaler.
Stop & Shop operates 226 pharmacies throughout Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York and Rhode Island.
