Stop & Shop Joins in ‘Frozen’ Fun

The Stop & Shop Supermarket Co. is offering shoppers an exclusive opportunity to obtain Disney’s “Frozen”-themed merchandise as part of a mail-in promotion tied to Disney On Ice Presents "Frozen" Presented by Stonyfield YoKids Organic Yogurt, at TD Garden in Boston Feb. 13-23.

Shoppers who buy $25 of participating Procter & Gamble products at Stop & Shop can send away for different "Frozen" merchandise each week through Feb. 19. Additionally, select Stop & Shop stores will feature a "Frozen" display as well as balloons, prize wheels and coupons.

Among the P&G brands taking part in the promotion are Bounty, Pantene, Puffs, Crest and Tide. Purchasers will receive a mail-in coupon at checkout to send away for the select merchandise for that week.

"This is an exciting promotion for us. Who doesn't love 'Frozen'?" noted David Siegel, VP of sales and marketing for Quincy, Mass.-based Stop & Shop New England. "It's not often that children and adults love characters in the same movie. These unique items are sure to please fans of all ages."

"Frozen" is the No. 1 animated film of all time, grossing more than $1.2 billion globally. DVD sales of the movie hit $3.2 million just on its day of release.
