Stater Bros. Pres./COO Named President of WAFC
LOS ANGELES -- At its 86th annual convention, the Western Association of Food Chains here elected Jim Lee, president and c.o.o. of Colton, Calif.-based Stater Bros., as president, as well as the other officers for the 2007-2008 year.
Other new officers are v.p-., John Eagan, who is also v.p., senior general merchandising manager, Costco Wholesale; treasurer Pete Van Helden, e.v.p./president, Retail West Region, Albertson's; secretary Mike Proulx, president, c.o.o., Bashas'; education chairman Karl Schroeder, president, Northern California Division of Safeway.
