Stater Bros. to Open 167th Store Next Week
Regional independent Stater Bros. Markets will open its 167th store July 22 at the Canyon Hills Marketplace in Lake Elsinore, Calif., a town the grocer has served since 1977. The new supermarket will be its third in Lake Elsinore.
The 44,000-square-foot store will feature full-service meat, seafood, deli, bakery and floral departments as well as a Stater Bros. Super Rx Pharmacy, and will incorporate such green innovations as an energy-efficient refrigeration system that reduces carbon dioxide emissions, and skylights to incorporate the use of natural day lighting.
San Bernardino, Calif.-based Stater Bros. operates 166 supermarkets and employs 19,000 associates.
