Stater Bros. to Offer Flu Shots Chainwide

Regional independent Stater Bros. Supermarkets is teaming up with Mollen Immunization Clinics to offer flu vaccinations at all 167 stores starting September 1 through October 23.
 
Licensed nurses will administer the vaccines to those ages 4 and up, and the vaccinations will be given as long as supplies last. “Stater Bros. remains committed to the health and well-being of our valued customers,” stated Jack H. Brown, Stater Bros. chairman and CEO. “Stater Bros. has a long-standing history of providing low prices and giving back to the communities it serves. Now with our network of pharmaceutical health care professionals, we’re also proud to be able provide our valued customers with access to high quality, affordable preventive health care.”
 
Mollen Immunization Clinics is an approved Medicare part B provider, so customers with Medicare ID cards may be eligible to receive the vaccination with no out-of-pocket expense. 
 
In addition, Stater Bros. offers a $4 generic prescription program with over 300 commonly prescribed medications as well as a free antibiotic program that offers a 14-day supply of selected antibiotics, including refills, at no charge to anyone with or without health insurance coverage who presents a prescription.
 
San Bernardino, Calif.-based Stater Bros. operates 167 Supermarkets in Southern California.
