SimonDelivers Introduces Exclusive Take & Bake Pizza
Minneapolis -- SimonDelivers, Inc. here recently launched a Twin Cities exclusive by providing customers with freshly prepared take & bake pizzas from Davanni's.
SimonDelivers and Davanni's worked together to design a pizza from the ground up to meet the demands of savvy SimonDelivers customers. "Our customers have come to expect exceptional quality from every part of our store," said Tod Seiling, director of perishables for the Twin Cities' leading home grocery delivery company. "When we decided to introduce a take & bake pizza, we needed to make sure it was made with fresh ingredients, flavorful and easy and Davanni's delivered!"
The Davanni's pizza item was specifically designed and packaged for SimonDelivers. Each Chicago-style deep-dish pizzas -- which currently include cheese, pepperoni, and sausage -- weighs 2 lbs. and is the perfect size for the refrigerated SimonDelivers totes, Seiling said.
"Our award winning-pizza has been primed for this opportunity and, judging by the initial sales, so has the marketplace," said Tim Huberty, director of marketing for Davanni's.
SimonDelivers customers are able place their order by 11:00 p.m. and receive them ready to bake the following day.
SimonDelivers services 3,200 square miles surrounding the metropolitan areas of Minneapolis and St. Paul from a single distribution center. It offers convenient next-day delivery six days a week to most locations including residential households, apartments, businesses, and condominiums.
