Shula's 347 and Farm Fresh to Host Great American Steak-out
NORFOLK, Va. -- Supervalu-owned regional retailer Farm Fresh is sponsoring a Great American Steak-out promotion for Certified Angus Beef on May 13 at Shula's 347 in the Norfolk Marriott Waterside here. The free event is designed to educate consumers about beef quality -- just in time for grilling season.
The Great American Steak-out will showcase CAB brand cowboy steak and strip steaks. Dave Shula, Shula's president, and Ron Dennis, Farm Fresh president, will offer their views on great beef. Shula's Chef Eddy, and Chef Richard of Farm Fresh will answer consumer questions and offer tips and techniques for steak preparation.
Virginia Beach, Va.-based Farm Fresh Supermarkets offer a complete line of CAB brand fresh cuts in the meat case. Meat department personnel will cut steaks or roasts to order, and stores offer free knife sharpening services.
Farm Fresh now offers the Shula's condiment pack in its stores.
All Shula's locations exclusively serve the CAB brand. The beef must pass seven more quality specifications than USDA Prime and it starts with only the highest quality Angus cattle.
