Shop 'N Save, Freschetta Sponsoring Torch Run for Special Olympics
ST. LOUIS -- Shop 'N Save stores here, in partnership with Freschetta pizza (a brand of Minneapolis-based Schwan's Consumer Brands North America, Inc.), is sponsoring the May 25 O'Fallon leg of the Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) benefiting Special Olympics Missouri, the biggest grassroots fund-raiser in St. Louis.
Shoppers can help raise money for the cause by buying Freschetta pizza throughout the month of May. Schwan's is contributing five cents for every Freschetta product bought at Shop 'N Save stores in the St. Louis market through May 25, up to $7,500.
Schwan's said this is the third consecutive year that it has sponsored the event, and the company will have donated more than $22,000 to the Special Olympics after this year's program is over.
