Sedano's Supermarkets to Launch Campaign to Polish Its Brand

Latino grocer Sedano's Supermarkets said Friday it has chosen Republica as its agency of record for all of its advertising, promotions, public relations, and community affairs initiatives. The Miami-based retailer said it will work closely with the agency to “evolve [its] brand.”

Republica will develop an integrated marketing program for the grocer that will include television, radio, online, and in-store promotions to be introduced through a phased rollout.

"As we continue to expand the company and increase our customer base, having the right marketing team to reposition our brand is key, and we feel Republica is our ideal partner," said Javier Herran, director of marketing, Sedano's Supermarkets.

Founded in Hialeah, Fla. in 1962 by the Guerra and Herran families, Sedano's Supermarkets caters to south Florida's booming Hispanic community, with 30 locations in Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties.
