Schnucks Opens Third InstaClinic at Butler Hill Store
ST. LOUIS - Schnucks Markets opened the third of four planned in-store clinics, in what company officials describe as the initial rollout of the clinic program in its metro area stores here.
"Over the past few months, clinics at Mid-Rivers and Alton Schnucks locations have delivered hundreds of flu shots that have led to follow-up visits from patients who appreciate the one-on-one service, convenience and affordability of instaClinic," said Patricia Sohn, nurse practitioner and president of instaClinic. "People are pleased that there is now a way to get treatment for minor ailments when their primary provider's office is closed."
Because of the strong community response, Sohn said there is still a need for nurse practitioners.
Plans are now underway for the next instaClinic to open within the walls of a Schnucks Market, at the chain's newly remodeled Lindell store.
The company said several more clinics are planned across the region over the next two years.
Schnuck Markets, Inc. operates 101 stores (including five Logli stores) and 98 pharmacies in Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Tennessee, Mississippi and Iowa.
