Schnucks Adds to Food Education Team
ST. LOUIS - Schnuck Markets here is boosting its food education team to promote its new food education initiative for customers and associates.
The chain said Jeannie Eisenberg has joined as store sales team manager, and will report to Kathy Gottsacker, Schnucks' director of food education and culinary arts. The new team member will primarily focus on creating custom education programs and cooking demonstrations designed to make nutritious, home cooked meals quick and easy.
Eisenberg brings 22 years of experience in food preparation and an extensive specialty food background to the Schnucks food team. She worked as sales manager and division demo coordinator for H-E-B Grocery Co.'s Central Market division in San Antonio, Texas, has served as general manager for a small specialty food store, and operated her own catering business.
Schnuck Markets, Inc. operates 101 stores (including five Logli stores) and 98 pharmacies in Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Iowa, Tennessee and Mississippi.
