Save Mart President Headlines New ‘Industry Talk’ Segment

Steve Junqueiro, president and COO of Modesto, Calif.-based Save Mart Supermarkets, headlines the latest installment of Progressive Grocer and DemandTec’s exclusive executive interview series, “Industry Talk.”

Hosted by PG editor-in-chief Meg Major, the latest Industry Talk interview with Junqueiro will be presented in three episodes, the first of which focuses on several new strategies in play at the regional retailer’s various banner stores in northern California and northern Nevada, including its recently launched Maxx Value Foods format, its evolving and increasingly sophisticated consumer-centric platform and the role the “mega-trends” of health and wellness and organics and natural products are playing in the face of an expanding base of value-seeking shoppers.
