Saucy New Flavors

Renfro Foods recently introduced three new gourmet salsas -- Pineapple, Pomegranate and Tequila -- at the Fancy Food Show in San Francisco. The flavors, all featuring a medium heat profile, are coming to grocery stores shelves in late spring/early summer. Every Mrs. Renfro’s salsa comes with a simple-to-prepare recipe on the label, and all of the Fort Worth, Texas-based company’s all-natural salsas contain no fat, cholesterol and gluten. The gourmet salsa line also includes such varieties as Peach, Chipotle Corn, Raspberry Chipotle and Mango Habanero. A 16-ounce jar retails for a suggested $3.49.
