Sargento, Green Bay Packers Team To Tackle Hunger

PLYMOUTH, Wis.- With the Green Bay Packers' offense ignited and primed for their strongest season in recent memory, fans will be cheering for more than just an onslaught of touchdowns; they will also be cheering for the support of families in need.

For the fifth consecutive season, Sargento and the Green Bay Packers have teamed up to support "Touchdowns for Charity," which raises money for the Wisconsin Hunger Task Force. Sargento will donate $1,000 for every offensive touchdown scored by the Packers and $2,000 for every defensive or special teams touchdown scored by the Packers throughout the 2007-08 season. New this year is an additional $1,000 pledge by Sargento for every game the Packers win.

Since partnering with the Packers four years ago, Sargento - the official cheese of the Green Bay Packers - has contributed more than $217,000 to the Hunger Task Force.

To help celebrate the partners' first year anniversary with the anti-hunger effort, Sargento added the additional $1,000 incentive for Packer wins. A running tally of money raised will be displayed on Lambeau Field's Tundra Vision throughout the season.
