Sam's Club Canada Chooses TelePlus for In-Store Retail Wireless Kiosk Franchise

MONTREAL -- TelePlus Enterprises, Inc. today announced that it has entered into a major agreement with Sam's Club Canada, a division of Wal-Mart Canada Corp., to implement and run a chain of retail wireless kiosks within the Sam's Club family of stores. The new state-of-the-art Sam's Club branded wireless kiosks will provide the store's members with a vast range of TelePlus wireless products and services from major Canadian carriers, including advanced international GSM world phones and satellite systems.

TelePlus also announced the opening of new kiosks in four Sam's Club locations in the greater Toronto area on the same day. TelePlus Enterprises will open more kiosks according to Sam's Club's new club rollout plan.

Sam's Club runs more than 500 clubs in the United States and is expected to open several new clubs in Canada in the upcoming years. TelePlus expects to generate U.S.$250,000 in revenue from each kiosk operated inside a Sam's Club.
