Sam's Club to Automate Daily Fuel Pricing

BENTONVILLE, Ark. - Wal-Mart-owned warehouse club retailer Sam's Club said today it plans to deploy daily pricing software for its fuel operations.

The retailer will use KSS PriceNet from Florham Park, N.J.-based KSS for the 433 fuel centers it operates across North America and Canada. PriceNet is a centrally managed retail fuel pricing system developed to manage the volatility of fuel pricing to ensure that consistent customer value is delivered.

"Our goal is to deliver consistent value to our members and KSS PriceNet provides us the ability to make sure we are accomplishing this, while complying with an ever-changing legislative environment," said Rich Ezell, senior strategy manager, fuel.

Sam's Club operates more than 570 stores in the U.S. and more than 100 international locations in Brazil, Canada, China, Mexico, and Puerto Rico.
