Safeway, PBH Agency Grabs Top In-Store Marketing Institute Honors
SOUTHFIELD, Mich. -- MARS Advertising based here earned a Gold and two Silver Awards in three categories of the 2006 Design of the Times competition presented by the In-Store Marketing Institute in conjunction with P-O-P Times.
MARS received a Gold Award in the Mass Merchants category for the "Go Wild with Fruits and Vegetables" display created for the Produce for Better Health Foundation and a Silver Award in the Supermarket/Grocery category for the "Safeway/Ice Age" frozen food promotion created for Safeway Inc. It also picked up another Silver Award for Flagstar Bank.
The annual Design of the Times competition recognizes the in-store marketing industry's best retail displays and promotions utilized in a wide variety of retail environments. Entries were evaluated on creativity of design and engineering, the innovative use of materials, the compatibility of the display to its retail channel, its ability to enhance the brand's image, and the realization of sales and marketing objectives.
