Sabor Latino Trade Show Set for May

Sabor Latino, a new food industry trade show and symposium that will enable grocers, restaurateurs, schools, hotels, hospitals and foodservice professionals to engage with Latino and non-Latino food products manufacturers, suppliers and services, will take place May 13-14 at the Pasadena Convention Center in California. Wells Fargo Bank will serve as a presenting sponsor of the event.

Latinas Mean Business

“Wells Fargo recognizes the importance of Latino businesses for an economically healthy America,” noted Sabor Latino Producer Lilly Rocha. “Latinas are leading all other groups in starting and expanding businesses, and many of those are in the food industry. Financial services such as those offered by Wells Fargo are essential for growing this sector.”

Others sponsors and exhibitors taking part in Sabor Latino are Happy Family Brands, Flatout, KIshe, Goya Foods, Ducal, Island Pacific Supermarkets, Los Angeles Produce Market Association, Food Industry Business Roundtable, Promexico and El Clasificado.

Featuring the tagline “El Show Que Vale la Pena” (“The Show That Matters”), Sabor Latino is produced by two Latina entrepreneurs: Rocha, of Long Beach, Calif.-based Space67Productions, and Oralia Michel, of Omagen Inc., in Los Angeles, who together have 35-plus years of experience in trade shows and expos in the Hispanic and international markets.
