Roundy’s Enhances Website Across its Five Banners
Roundy’s Supermarkets, Inc. launched new websites for its five store banners with new enhancements dev eloped by Minneapolis-based Grocery Shopping Network.
The websites represent the grocer’s more than 150 stores under the banners of Pick ’n Save, Rainbow Foods, Copps Food Centers, Metro Market, and Mariano’s Fresh Market.
“At Roundy’s, we strive to provide quality food at a great value for our customers,” said Vivian King, Roundy’s director of public affairs. “Our new websites with the addition of online shopping tools will enhance our ability to serve our customers and focus on their needs.”
Strengthening their e-commerce strategy, Roundy’s newly enhanced website platform provides interactive tools for shoppers, including the ability to search by department or brand; personalized specials tailored to the shoppers preferences and previous shopping history; a recipe center that includes 60,000 recipes and wine parings; online shopping from the weekly ad circular; access to in-store specials and sale items; as well as the ability to create a master shopping list and a record of previous orders.
In addition to the rich content supplied by GSN, shoppers will have the ability to view all past purchases using their loyalty card information. This information will also be used to fuel GSN’s personalization engine, which makes recommendations to shoppers on a weekly basis.

Milwaukee-based Roundy’s operates 155 retail grocery stores and 90 pharmacies under the Pick ’n Save, Copps, Rainbow, Metro Market and Mariano’s Fresh Market banners in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Illinois.
