Roundy’s Inc. has elected Gregory P. Josefowicz – veteran of such retailers as Jewel-Osco, Spartan Stores and Winn-Dixie – to its board of directors.
With more than 30 years of retail executive leadership, Josefowicz’s experience includes corporate governance, marketing, merchandising, brand development, retail operations and human resources.
“We are excited to have Greg join the board and welcome his in-depth experience and perspective on the food retail industry,” said Robert Mariano, Roundy’s chairman, president and CEO. “Greg will also provide us with relevant public company and corporate governance insight as a former public company executive and active director. We look forward to his future contributions as we continue to grow our business.”
Josefowicz is the lead director and chair of the nominating and corporate governance committee of the board of directors of PetSmart Inc., director and member of the audit committee of United States Cellular Corp., and a board member of Tops Markets and True Value Co.
