Roundy’s Donates 75 Cases of Diapers to 15 Organizations

On what Roundy’s Supermarkets, Inc. dubbed “Diaper Day,” the Milwaukee-based retailer donated 75 cases of its own-brand diapers to15 organizations in a five-county area. Each organization received five cases of 160-count packs of diapers for a total of 800 diapers each. All told, Roundy’s donated a total of 12,000 diapers to the recipient organizations, which comprised food pantries and women’s and homeless shelters.

At a recent event marking the giveaway, Roundy’s EVP Don Rosanova thanked the organizations’ representatives for their service to the community, after which each told the crowd about how their programs help those in need. Then Roundy’s employees, including Steve Choate and Connie Jones, helped load the diapers into the organizations’ vehicles.

Roundy’s operates 154 retail grocery stores and 88 pharmacies under the Pick’ n Save, Copps, Rainbow and Metro Market banners in Wisconsin and Minnesota.
