Ring Bros. Marketplace Extends Playground Project Fundraiser

Ring Bros. Marketplace, South Dennis, Mass. is continuing its Dennis-Yarmouth school playground charity project for an additional two weeks, until the end of April.

The fundraiser, which began January and was scheduled to end April 15, donates 5 percent of Ring Bros. revenue to the Nathaniel H. Wixon Middle and Laurence C. MacArthur Elementary Schools for the restoration of the school's playgrounds.

The goal of the project is to raise enough money to provide developmentally appropriate, safe, and fun equipment for the children of the community. By repairing and replacing damaged equipment, Ring Bros. will provide playgrounds for safe, healthy play and exercise.

"Giving back to the community is important to us here at Ring Bros.," said Ed Ring co-owner. "We are all parents, so we realize how important physical activity is for children."

Customers can continue to use a special number - that can be obtained from any cashier -- that will track their purchases through Ring Bros. Marketplace Rewards program. Parents and faculty of Dennis-Yarmouth school's students will can also track the funds accrued for the donation through the rewards program.

Ring Bros. consists of six independently owned businesses: Ring Bros.
