Retailer Focuses on Affordable, Healthy Foods

Sabzee Mediterranean Market is positioning itself as an affordable option for healthy groceries.

The Los Angeles-based retailer has launched a public relations campaign to remind its customers that its weekly specials are available in-store and online. "Eating right can be great for your body, but tough on your wallet. Sabzee Mediterranean Market's weekly specials are an excellent way to save on healthy groceries," the retailer said.

Sabzee Mediterranean Market, a Middle Eastern grocery store in the San Fernando Valley, is known for its selection of ethnic foods, including Persian spices and other specialty foods. Sabzee means "green" in Persian and is a reflection of the healthy foods found throughout the store.

From meat and seafood to wine and locally grown produce, Sabzee Mediterranean Market has a deli stocked with hot and cold items – Meditteranean classes and traditional American items -- that are made in-house. Catering is available for nearby businesses.

Sabzee Mediterranean Market also has an in-house bakery that creates fresh baked breads and pastries.
