Redner's Set to Re-open Ephrata, Pa. Unit

Ephrata, Pa. --- After a series of setbacks and construction-related challenges, Redner's Warehouse Markets will finally proclaim the remodeling of its store here complete this weekend.

Since construction began in February, the location has been in a constant state of upheaval and change, according to Redner's officials. Several internal remodels had been made but the store's overall square footage has never been expanded. The departure of a CVS pharmacy provided adequate space for the Reading, Pa.-based family company to expand and give the store an updated appearance.

An additional 10,000 square feet were added to the sales floor with an additional 1,000 square feet added for warehouse space and a new receiving dock. The store now measures approximately 46,000 square feet.

In addition to offering such services as an in-store bakery and full-service deli, fresh produce, meats and seafood departments, HBC/non-foods and grocery departments, the store will now feature a full-service salad bar and extensively expanded meats, dairy and frozen food departments. The added variety of new products will allow the store to offer over 44,000 different products, thus presenting shoppers with many more choices than previously offered in all departments.

The store will also offer self check-out terminals. Consumers will also be able to use coupons and receive cash back from their transactions.

Redner's operates 38 Warehouse Markets and 11 Quick Shoppes throughout Eastern Pennsylvania and New York.
