Redner's Plans New Stores For Maryland, Delaware
READING, Pa. - Coming on the heels of its newest store in Joppatowne Md., Redner's Warehouse Markets here will add two new locations in 2008 in Chestertown, Md. and Dover, Del., to mark the 41st and 42nd stores for the family-held chain.
Pending approval of all permits and other new commercial development details, construction for 48,0000-square-foot North Dover Warehouse Market will begin in October 2007. The addition of this location will be Redner's first location in Delaware and is scheduled to open May 2008.
Construction of Redner's third Maryland location tabbed for the Chestertown Shopping Center at the intersection of Church Hill and McGinnis Rds. in Chestertown is scheduled to begin in March 2008. When completed, the newly constructed store will also be 48,000-square-feet and is tentatively scheduled to open in November 2008.
Redner's Markets, Inc. currently operates 40 supermarkets and 12 Quick Shoppes throughout Eastern Pennsylvania, New York and Maryland.
