Reasor’s Spices Up Signage

Reasor’s Foods is implementing a new retail enterprise suite from global information technology services company, Episys, that will provide the 17-store regional retailer with significant reductions in signage costs and labor.

The Tahlequah, Ok.-based Reasor’s will integrate Episys’ retail enterprise suite with its back office systems, including planogram, inventory and pricing, to ensure consistency in its signage. The solution will produce Reasor’s shelf edge labels and POS, which will be produced centrally, and printed locally.

“We were looking for a signage solution, and drew up a shortlist that included Episys and three other solution providers,” said Shelly Simmons, Reasor’s director of pricing systems. “Episys signage and labeling solution meets all our business and technical requirements and offered even more functionality than requested allowing us to revisit our strategy and goals to make sure we can take full advantage of the potential value of the solution.”

Jarrod Welch, Reasor’s VP and CTO, describes Episys enterprise suite as “the most dynamic and flexible sign and label solution that we have seen that meets both our strategic and technical requirements, allowing us to increase our overall efficiency and help deliver superb customer service.”

Peter Lewis, Episys’ marketing director, praised Reasor’s success as a result of being “built on the foundation of putting the needs of its customers first.”

With annual revenues of $400 million, the employee-ownend Reasor’s operates 15 grocery and two convenience stores and employs nearly 3,000 people in northeastern Oklahoma.
