Randall Onstead Jr. Joins Haggen Advisory Board
BELLINGHAM, Wash. -- R. Randall Onstead Jr., former chairman, president, and c.e.o. of Houston-based Randalls Food Markets, Inc., has joined the board of advisors of the community-based chain Haggen, Inc., based here.
Onstead has 27 years of experience in the retail food industry. Most recently, he was president of Dominick's Finer Foods, based in Oak Brooks, Ill.
He has also served on the board of directors of J.P. Morgan Chase Texas, the Baylor College of Medicine, and the Onstead Foundation.
Haggen, Inc. said it developed the board of advisors to help it stay ahead of trends, and develop and execute strategic plans.
Haggen operates 15 Food and Pharmacy locations in Washington and Oregon, and has more 3,700 employees.
