Ralphs, Knott’s Team Up to Help Orange County Food Bank
Kroger-owned Ralphs Grocery Co. and Knott’s Berry Farm theme park have joined forces to help replenish the shelves of the Orange County Food Bank with an upcoming promotion that offers two ways for consumers to save money and help those in need.
Starting Aug. 1, Ralphs shoppers can purchase a regular ticket to Knott’s for only $34.99 each (a $23 savings) and Ralphs will make a food donation to the Orange County Food Bank for every ticket sold. Guests coming directly to Knott’s Berry Farm’s front gate will also be able to purchase admission for $34.99 each with a donation of two cans for every ticket purchase.
The collected food will be used by the Orange County Food Bank to help meet the needs of Southern California’s most destitute families and collect needed donations beyond the traditional food drive period when the need is great and food supply is low.
