British Columbia-based Nature’s Path Organic Foods has introduced Qi’a, a new cereal concept that combines the superfood ingredients of chia, hemp and buckwheat. Available in three flavors – apple cinnamon, cranberry vanilla and original – the cereal is gluten-free and provides an excellent source of ALA Omega-3s and fiber. Consumers can enjoy Qi’a by adding milk, blending it into yogurt and fruit smoothies, or sprinkling it into salads and soups for added nutrients. Qi’a retails for $8.99.
