SAN MATEO, Calif. - Blue Martini Software Inc. today announced that PublixDirect, Publix Super Markets' online grocery shopping and home delivery division, is using Blue Martini applications to power its new online grocery-shopping site.
PublixDirect chose Blue Martini applications to streamline its customer support processes for consumers who purchase groceries online. Using Blue Martini applications integrated with Descartes Systems Group, customers can conduct extensive product searches, create shopping lists, review specials, purchase published recipe ingredients, and schedule deliveries quickly and easily, according to the company.
In addition to fulfilling merchandising and delivery processes, PublixDirect also uses Blue Martini's data mining applications to capture customer data in order to achieve a better understanding of its customers. PublixDirect is also using the Blue Martini Service application to provide consistent service through its customer service center.
