Publix Promotes 3 To Vice-President

LAKELAND, Fla - Publix Super Markets Inc. announces the following promotions.

Gino DiGrazia has been promoted to vice president and controller. Before joining Publix in 1992, DiGrazia spent eight years as an audit manager for the accounting firm Deloitte & Touche. He was manager of business analysis and reporting until being promoted to director of business analysis and reporting in 1997. DiGrazia graduated from Ohio State University in 1984 with a bachelor of science degree in business administration, majoring in both accounting and finance.

Sandy Woods has been promoted to vice president and controller. Woods began her Publix career in 1992 as supervisor of store bank audit. She was promoted to manager of electronic funds transfer/store bank audit in 1993. Expense accounting was added to her managerial responsibilities in 1994. Since 1997 she has been director of corporate accounting. Woods received her bachelor of science degree in accounting from Florida Southern College in 1982.

Linda Kane has been promoted to vice president and assistant secretary. Kane came to Publix in 1994 from the Watson Clinic and served as a treasury analyst until 1997, when she was promoted to manager of business analysis. In 1998 she was promoted to director of benefits administration and in 2000 was promoted to assistant secretary. Kane received her master of accountancy degree from the University of South Florida in 1988.
