Pro’s Ranch Markets Named 2012 Arizona Retailer of the Year

Pro’s Ranch Markets was honored as the 2012 Arizona Retailer of the Year for its leadership in support of the industry and within its company, and dedication to the communities it serves.

The independent grocer was presented with the award Nov. 16 by The Arizona Food Marketing Alliance (AFMA) state trade association for the Arizona Food Industry, during its annual award banquet.

“My family and I are honored to accept this prestigious award on behalf of the dedicated and passionate Pro’s Ranch Markets Team Members,” said Mike Provenzano Sr., CEO of Pro’s Ranch Markets. “My sons and I are proud of the communities we are in and enjoy giving back to the neighborhoods that we work with.”

Throughout the year, Pro’s Ranch Markets hosts a variety of community-driven, family-oriented events almost every month, including Easter egg hunts, back-to-school backpack giveaways, and healthcare fairs.  “This is how we say ‘Thank You’ for being great customers, neighbors and friends,” said Provenzano. “We want to thank the community we serve.”

Ontario, Calif.-based Pro’s Ranch Markets operates 11 stores in three states, including seven in Arizona, two stores in Texas, two stores in New Mexico, a gas station, three laundromats, as well as an 80,000-square-foot corporate office and warehouse and a 151,000-square-foot warehouse in Phoenix.
