Promotion-Friendly Pouches

You aren’t supposed to judge a book by its cover, but most consumers do judge food products based on how they look.

To capture attention at the deli case and further motivate shoppers, Lenexa, Kan.-based Robbie Flexibles has introduced Hot N Handy deli pouches that allow for the addition of on-package promotional offers. On-pack offers can be applied for IRCs, future use coupons, cross couponing, recipe delivery or promotional offerings, such as contests or sweepstakes.

Designed for increasingly popular hot foods sold at the deli case and other parts of the store, Hot N Handy deli pouches are available in several sizes for applications ranging from a rotisserie chicken to two slabs of ribs, and feature a reinforced handle for carrying and a recloseable zipper. In addition to its graphic-friendly film, the leak-resistant, microwave-safe deli pouches were made using the latest anti-fog technology.

Compared to other common packages for hot foods, the Hot N Handy deli pouch uses 85 percent less backroom storage space than plastic domed containers.
