Price Chopper Unveils New ‘House of BBQ’ Torchbearers
Price Chopper has introduced the new “torchbearers” of its annual “House of BBQ” campaign, who will begin appearing in ads across the company’s six-state footprint. Allan Harris and Lynn Sterling, two nationally known musical artists, will bring their individual talents to the words of campaign’s familiar jingle, “We’re not cookin’ tonight, we’re grillin’ tonight!”
“Price Chopper’s House of BBQ has become a tradition here in the Northeast, a launching pad of sorts for the summer grilling season that inspires backyard gatherings and the communal enjoyment of flame-broiled meat, seafood and vegetables,” said Mona Golub, VP of public relations and consumer and marketing services at Schenectady, N.Y.-based Price Chopper
Harris (above) is a singer, guitarist and songwriter noted his interpretations of jazz standards, while Sterling (below) has sung, acted, and danced on Broadway and around the world in national touring productions of “Evita,” “Sophisticated Ladies,” “Sweet Charity,” “Can-Can” and “Anything Goes,” as well as in film and on television.
Radio and TV advertising spots featuring the duo are now available at www.pricechopper.com.
