Price Chopper Names First V.P. of Floral and Lifestyle Merchandising
SCHENECTADY, N.Y. -- Golub Corp./Price Chopper Supermarkets said this week that it named Jon Strom v.p. of floral and lifestyle merchandising, a newly created position.
Reporting directly to s.v.p. of sales and merchandising Jerry Golub, Strom will spearhead corporate initiatives to provide healthy foods, including natural and organic, gluten-free, and wellness items, for the regional Northeast chain.
Strom previously served as v.p. of floral and has years of experience in sales, marketing, merchandising, and product development.
The family-owned Golub Corp. owns and operates 115 Price Chopper stores in New York, Vermont, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire. Golub employs over 23,000 associates who collectively own 55 percent of the company's privately held stock.
