Price Chopper Appoints Director of Construction
Price Chopper Supermarkets/Golub Corp. has promoted Joe Brousseau to the position of director of construction. Brousseau reports directly to VP of engineering and construction Bill Sweet.
In his new role, Brousseau will administer new construction projects, expansion remodels and corporate capital expenditures for the Northeast regional chain. He will also manage the reformat and new store setup crews.
A Price Chopper employee since 1980, Brousseau has held several project management positions in engineering at the company, most recently that of manager of construction.
Schenectady, N.Y.-based Golub Corp. owns and operates 119 Price Chopper grocery stores in New York, Vermont, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and New Hampshire. The family-owned company employs over 23,000 associates who collectively own 55 percent of the its privately held stock.
