President Obama to Host Town Hall Session in Va. Kroger Store
A Kroger Co. grocery store in Bristol, Va., will serve as the backdrop for a presidential town hall meeting this week when President Barack Obama discusses his health care plan with nearly 100 Kroger employees.
The president is slated to host an hour-long question-and-answer session at 4 p.m. this Wednesday with employees of the store, which is part of the Cincinnati-based chain’s Roanoke, Va.-based Mid-Atlantic Marketing Area.
The president has been making similar stops around the country in recent weeks as he pushes Congress to adopt sweeping health care reforms.
