PMA Produce Pavilion Returning to NGA Show

For the second time, the Produce Marketing Association (PMA) will team up with the National Grocers Association (NGA) with an expanded presence at the latter organization’s 2013 show, which is scheduled for Feb. 10-13 at the Mirage Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

Located at the center of the expo floor, the PMA Produce Pavilion will serve as a hub for 28 produce companies to showcase the industry innovations, trends and product available to help boost sales. The pavilion also enables representatives of the entire supply chain to connect with the wholesalers and independent grocers that aren’t necessarily active at traditional foodservice shows.

Additionally, Bryan Silbermann, president and CEO of Newark, Del.-based PMA, will moderate The Super Breakfast Session “Fresh Foods: Consumer, Marketplace and Environmental Trends” on Monday, Feb. 11 at 6:45a.m., and Jan DeLyser, PMA chairman and VP of marketing for the Irvine-based California Avocado Commission, will speak at Sunday evening’s opening keynote session, “America’s Debt and Deficit Crisis: Issues and Solutions with Alan Simpson and Erskine Bowles.”
