Plum Market's Chicago store has tapped on-demand home delivery service Minibar to offer beer, wine and spirits to customers' doorsteps.
Shoppers can visit Minibar online, or use the New York-based company's mobile app to place their order, which will be delivered in an hour or less, according to Minibar.
“Our guests in Chicago are smart and very current,” said Matt Jonna, CEO and co-founder of Plum Market. “They know what they want and when they need it. Minibar will offer them and nearby businesses a way to get the beverages and entertaining supplies they need quickly and conveniently.”
In addition to providing delivery, Minbar also offers pairing recommendations, cocktail recipes and tasting notes, as well as an option for users to send gifts.
“Customer satisfaction is extremely important to us, and Plum Market is a perfect example of a vendor that values customer service and will help to continue creating a unique and unparalleled Minibar experience for our customers," said Minibar Co-Founder Lara Crystal.
Plum Market’s Chicago store is located at 1233 North Wells Street in the city's Old Town neighborhood.
Plum Market operates full-service grocery stores in Chicago; Bloomfield Township, Ann Arbor and West Bloomfield, Mich.; with new stores opening in Ann Arbor-North Campus and inside Detroit Metropolitan Airport in the fall.
