Robinsons Retail Group, one of the largest retailers in the Philippines, plans to deploy a retail analytics solution for its Robinsons Supermarket chain that would improve business analytics, speed up transactional processes, and enhance retailer-vendor partnerships.

The grocer will use Manthan Systems’ ARC Supplier Portal & Analytics for the solution. ARC Supplier Portal & Analytics is a portal-based supplier-trade partner collaboration platform developed for exchanging information critical to key processes like order management, master data management, vendor performance, inventory management, promotions, rebates, and customer insight.

According to Schaumburg, Ill-based Manthan, retailers generally share only purchase order data with their suppliers. ARC’s Supplier Portal & Analytics was created to change this trend by providing rich analytical solutions which ensures reduction in operational cost of tracking POs and invoices, and avoid penalties by managing the documents properly, resulting in an increase in the transparency of payments.
