PGI to Honor Outstanding Independents

Progressive Grocer Independent will announce its 2015 Outstanding Independents during the NGA Show on Monday, Feb. 9. This year's honorees come from a variety of operations throughout the country, but they all have one thing in common: all are independent retailers who have listened and made a connection to their community. All winners will be featured in the upcoming February issue.

This year's awards recognizes retailers for outstanding performance in the following categories: Overall Outstanding Single-Store Operator, Overall Outstanding Multi-Store Operator, "wow" factor, community outreach, bakery, meat/seafood, produce, sustainability, technology, deli/foodservice and center store.
