Since its inception in 1971, family-owned Williams Discount Foods has built its reputation on farm-fresh produce, top-quality meat and seafood, and friendly service at its eight locations. For its new location in Piedmont, Okla., Williams’ commitment to customer service would remain unchanged but its owners wanted to take things to the next level with a new look.

To create the ground-up store – and Williams’ first building of this size – AWG’s design team color-matched the interior to the polished concrete flooring, giving a departmentalized look to the space. In addition to the bold color choices for the store’s interior, the team incorporated a parchment-style graphic into each of the department signs to give the store a simple and direct theme.

In addition to its quality products and fair prices, owner Jeff Williams is sure this new design format will give the new Piedmont location the edge that it needs in today’s competitive Midwest marketplace.
