OTA Hires Associate Director, Conference and Product Development

Angela Jagiello has joined the Organic Trade Association (OTA) in the newly created position of associate director, conference and product development.

“OTA … anticipates that her work will further enhance OTA’s conference and information product offerings to better serve the organic industry,” said Christine Bushway, executive director and CEO of the Greenfield, Mass.-based membership-based business association for organic agriculture and products in North America. “[M]any of our members are already familiar with her work within the organic community,”

That work includes collaborations with retailers, manufacturers, members of the media and advocacy groups over the past 12 years. In her most recent position, that of senior manager of national accounts for South Deerfield, Mass.-based Dr. Hauschka Skin Care Inc., Jagiello dealt with some of the largest organic product retailers in the United States. Her background additionally includes stints in journalism and public relations, and she holds an MBA from the University of Colorado with an emphasis in marketing.

OTA’s members include growers, shippers, processors, certifiers, farmers' associations, distributors, importers, exporters, consultants and retailers.
