Nugget Markets Prepares 'Dinner on the Farm'

Nugget Markets Executive Chef Stazi Dulman and his chef team are creating and presenting a fresh, locally sourced summertime outdoor feast at The Farm on Putah Creek in Winters, Calif., on Aug. 4 from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. Proceeds benefit the Center for Land Based Learning and its many youth education programs, designed to provide local students with hands-on experience in local sustainable agriculture on California farms and ranches.

Attendees will enjoy an evening of delicious offerings, from wood-fired flat breads to fresh seafood platters and caprese salad to roasted filet of beef with summertime vegetables and ending with various sweet treats from the Nugget Markets in-store bakery, just to name a few items off the evening’s menu.

“The Dinner on the Farm series is a perfect fit for Nugget Markets,” says Randy Wehman, director of kitchen operations for Nugget Markets, based in Woodland, Calif. “We’re so excited to not only create and serve a delicious meal that incorporates local ingredients, but what a pleasure it is to support the Center for Land Based Learning and its commitment to education and local agriculture. It’s a great meal for a wonderful cause.”

Nugget Markets has been family owned and operated since 1926 and has with stores in Woodland, Davis, Roseville, Sacramento, Elk Grove, Vacaville, and El Dorado Hills.
