NPA MarketPlace Tradeshow, Conference to Suspend in 2013

New Hope Natural Media will suspend the Natural Products Association MarketPlace tradeshow, scheduled to be held in Las Vegas in June 2013, in an effort to deliver new opportunities more strategically aligned with today’s market needs.

"We plan to shift our emphasis to further develop our partnership with the Natural Products Association,” said Fred Linder, president of Boulder, Colo.-based New Hope Natural Media. “This shift will create new opportunities for the natural products industry, surrounding our trade shows."

Since 2008, New Hope Natural Media and the Natural Products Association (NPA) have jointly held the tradeshow to support the natural products industry. The partnership will continue through new programs and initiatives in the future and the benefits will remain intact for NPA members.

"The Natural Products Association appreciates the work we've done with New Hope throughout the years,” said John Shaw, executive director and CEO of the NPA. “While it is unfortunate the show won't go on, we understand the business reasons behind it. NPA has always sought to connect retailers and suppliers in the marketplace. We are committed to this goal and our work with New Hope to achieve it. NPA looks forward to new developments within this relationship in 2013 and beyond.”

The Natural Products Association is the largest nonprofit organization dedicated to the natural products industry. The NPA represents over 1,900 members and 10,000 locations of retailers, manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors, including foods, dietary supplements, and health/beauty aids.
