Chicken of the Sea International uses a patented process in its No Drain Tuna, which offers a solid, steak-like product without the usual mess. According to John Sawyer, SVP of sales and marketing for San Diego-based Chicken of the Sea: “No Drain Tuna has shown great success in overseas markets, and we project similar success in the United States. As the first and only brand offering the technology in the U.S., ‘No Drain’ will differentiate our brand and drive increased retail purchases.” Available in a 4-ounce can with an easy-open lid, the line retails for a suggested $2.99 for Solid White Albacore Tuna and a suggested $1.99 for Solid Light Tuna, Solid Light Thai Chili Tuna and Solid Light Lemon Pepper Tuna. Chicken of the Sea is also offering an on-pack coupon on all the No Drain products that's good for 50 cents off the retail price.
