N.G.A. Launches Online Training Partnership
The National Grocers Association (N.G.A.) has teamed up with Online Training Technologies (OTT) to develop new retailer and wholesaler training programs for the association’s members.
OTT, a Valley Forge, Pa.-based provider of learning solutions and content, has developed products to reduce training costs, improve retailer regulatory compliance programs, and enhance sales and human resource management initiatives. Its training programs target all levels of employees with the most up-to-date and innovative training available. More than 150 courses are available on a variety of topics, including Patriot Act regulatory compliance, job skills, product knowledge, and procedures.
“OTT was the ideal collaborative partner for the N.G.A.’s Grocer Research and Education Foundation (GREF), and its online training and educational programs,” said Frank DiPasquale, EVP of Arlington, Va.-based N.G.A. “[The news] that we’re joining forces emphasizes our continued promise to our members that we will provide complete access to the best possible training programs available.”
GREF serves the industry by improving productivity in all key areas of operations through sharing information, education and research to N.G.A. members.
N.G.A. is the national trade association representing the retail and wholesale grocers that comprise the independent sector of the food distribution industry.
