NFL-Themed Milk Touches Down in Stores and Schools

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. - In an effort to increase overall milk sales and consumption, the Midwest Dairy Association based here is rolling out a new Gridiron Milk branded product line to schools and retail grocery stores for the 2007 NFL season. Omaha, Neb.-based processor Roberts Dairy Co. is distributing the product line in Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska.

Packaged in 8 oz. plastic resealable containers, Gridiron Milk features all 32 collective NFL team marks, as well as highlights, the NFL's interactive Web site for kids.

Gridiron Milk will be available year-round in a variety of flavors, including fat-free, 1 percent and 2 percent white; fat-free and 2 percent chocolate; and fat-free strawberry.

Adorned with the 3-A-Day of Dairy logo, Gridiron Milk further reminds
families to get the Dietary Guidelines for Americans' recommended three
daily dairy servings.
