The California-based Bard Valley Medjool Date Growers Association, a consortium of Southwest family growers responsible for 60 percent of the country’s Medjool date crop, and Datepac LLC in Yuma, Ariz., the nation’s largest Medjool date packer and shipper, have added the Natural Delights Snack Pack to the growing line of Natural Delights products. Available in five varieties and containing no added sugar or preservatives, the 4-ounce snack packs have been specifically designed to induce consumer trial at a competitive price. Caramel-tasting Medjool dates provide such nutrients as potassium, dietary fiber, magnesium, vitamin B6, niacin and zinc. The snack packs’ SRP range is $2.49 to $2.99.
