National Pork Board Launches Holiday Promotion

This holiday season, the National Pork Board’s “Spend Less to Impress” campaign will promote loin roasts and spiral hams as the perfect centerpiece for festive holiday meals, especially in light of increased food costs and consumers’ pinched budgets.

The promotion includes point-of-sale materials including on-pack labels, a meat case sign and static cling, which retailers can access online.

“Pork is a better value than ever this holiday season. We encourage retailers to remind their customers of this great value, along with the simple preparation and easy elegance of pork roasts and spiral hams,” said Patrick Fleming, director of retail marketing for the National Pork Board. “Home cooks can save money and time on this year’s holiday meal - which means more time to spend out of the kitchen and with family.”

The National Pork Board has responsibility for Checkoff-funded research, promotion and consumer information projects and for communicating with pork producers and the public.
